Business Development Manager

Hellon are a globally awarded and highly respected international Service Design Consultancy who work with clients in such diverse sectors as automotive, finance, telecommunications, medical and government.


We are on the lookout for a topflight Business Development Manager to join our successful London service design studio. We are keen to speak with an individual who understands the importance of identifying core customer needs and who is experienced in consultatively communicating value to prospective clients. Great networking skills are a given in this role, so a demonstratable track record is key, we want a professional who lights up the room and can confidently articulate ideas to senior stakeholders and the C suite. We need an ambassador of our culture, inspired by the people around you, a true believer of better customer experience creates a better business.


  • Solid experience in a business development role within an agency setting or other relevant area of consultative sales (3 years +) with the ability to create an impact that will take future businesses forward
  • Experience in driving business development and achieving growth targets with a proven track record of meeting sales quotas
  • Excellent business acumen and a strong strategic and commercial approach to discovering and developing new customer opportunities
  • Ability to fluently communicate service offerings and link these directly to customers’ needs/challenges
  • Inbuilt leaderships skills and the ability to inspire multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and facilitation skills
  • A genuine interest in continual personal development
  • Passion to work in a creatively driven environment


You’ll be working alongside our Commercial Director and a growing multidisciplinary team of experienced, engaged, and talented people who are super keen to collaborate and support your sales initiatives.  We want you to be a success and we’ll all help you get there!


  • Identify new client relationships across the full range of Hellon’s offering
  • Proactively reach out to executive decision makers of carefully selected prospects
  • Drive the creation, proposal, and winning of new clients by matching their needs with Hellon’s offering and presenting the success solution to the client
  • Control and communicate the new business funnel, providing accurate reporting of all new project opportunities
  • Utilise a mix of social media, third party portals and other lead generation activities
  • Own, shape and implement the business development strategy
  • Have lots of fun and enjoy working with your Hellon team
